Filling your claim

1

Once the claim has been reviewed with a Broker and is submitted to the Insurance Company, you will be contacted by a Claims Adjuster; an expert that guides you through the claims process and negotiates your claims settlement

2

A certified Estimator examines the damage to your vehicle, then writes up an estimate of the repairs needed and their cost. You are welcome to obtain independent estimates.

3

Get your vehicle fixed. You may take your vehicle to any collision repair shop, but many Insurance companies recommend using an approved repair facility. This insures your repairs are guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle.

4

Pay a deductible. When the repairs are done, you may have to pay a deductible (the amount of money a person has to pay before his insurance coverage begins).

5

Contact your Cooke Insurance Broker at any time should you have any concerns with the claims process. That’s our role as your Insurance Broker- to listen, advise, and offer support through ever step of the claims process!
