HOLIDAY SAFETY TIPS
Keep your family safe by preventing accidental fires.

•	Never burn Christmas wrapping in the fireplace
•	Do not use Christmas trees for firewood
•	Keep your tree watered regularly and away from heaters or fireplaces
•	Don’t overload electrical outlets and make sure cords are not pinched or fraying
•	Keep electric heaters at least 1 meter from combustibles, and turn them off before going to bed
•	As always, make sure your Smoke Alarm is in good working order
