Nature Conservancy of Canada announcement

We are excited to announce that Cooke Insurance Group has pledged $50,000 to support the work of the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

The special places, plants, and animals where we live are an important part of our lives. Cooke Insurance Group and Nature Conservancy of Canada believe that we should leave the world a better place for future generations, and this includes protecting wild places today, so that they will be there tomorrow. Our communities, our business, and our families are enriched by healthy ecosystems. Science shows many physical, mental and emotional benefits to having access to nature. Conserving nature not only ensures that we have wild places to access, but also makes our environment more resilient to climate change/coastal erosion/storm surges, and helps our economy by managing our resources sustainably.

We think that protecting nature is important. We are proud to announce this new support to you, and hope that you will consider supporting the Nature Conservancy of Canada as well (whether as a donor or by participating in one of their volunteer events throughout the region).
