“I am writing to thank you for being so generous to provide the Youth Rowing with new racing boats. The opportunity to train with these boats certainly helped them with their performance in Lac Magog, Quebec this past weeknd at the Sherbrooke Canada Games Test Regatta. This was the first Regatta for 5 of the 9 team members. The silver medal for the women’s Quad and bronze medal for the Men’s Quad was the combined result of your generosity and a dedicated group of young people who demonstrated respect for their Coach, teammates, officials and all those involved in the Regatta on June 8th, 2013. They were great Ambassadors for PEI!The Team is now preparing for the Sprints in Dartmouth Nova Scotia July 20 & 21.
